Well Pagey, is not as if he was the first Stig, I’d imagine another one can be sourced & it would be business as usual.

One thing we can agree on is the question of the most highly stimulating Sabine, gets a Ja vote from the Dr;)

Besides which you can’t really use audience figures as a measure of quality

Don’t believe I said that, let alone alluded to it.

    Best read my post again.

Damn, no, I’ll do it for you-

Top Gear- an easy viewing distraction on a Sunday evening

    Nothing more, nothing less.

Maybe a few of us are reading too much into this, the Stig was entertaining, a talented racing driver who is/was* a good control to compare cars around a short closed circuit. He wants to sell his story & make some cash, so what? Wouldn’t most of us given the chance?

    (*delete as applicable)

Top Gear- an easy viewing distraction on a Sunday evening to take ones mind off the Monday morning that is stalking up a few hours away.

No conspiracy, nothing, just viewing figures, which I believe are substantial.

is it just me or does Bugatti’s Veyron looks stupid?

You’re not alone, I find it’s front grill aperture disturbingly similar to that of a Ford Edsel & we all know what that resembled 😮
