I think probably the best Legends ive been to for a while was 2008, and definitely the 2010 main Duxford show in September will take some beating. For those who can remember the centenary of flight show watching a 747 perform over Duxford field will be remembered as a highlight. I didn’t have a digital camera then if but someone can post some images im sure they will be welcome and would bring back memories ? ๐Ÿ˜€

I can see there being another Heritage Flight with that theme and having Hinton/Friedkin over ๐Ÿ™‚

Think that’s highly unlikely now along with anything from the USAF bases ๐Ÿ™

It’s in Sweden where all the Scandinavian historic jets are kept. Should be back on the circuit this year!!

An A26 Invader isnt a Jet ??? it most definitely has 2 piston engines with propellers on the end :diablo:

Are you refering to ‘Sugarland Express’? If so, whilst it has indeed changed ownership, AFAIK it is still in Europe.

It’s about time Leg ends got every airworthy P-51’s in Europe together & dropped many of the Spits :diablo:

As well as the Spits and maybe 7 Hurricanes, a healthy contingents from Old Warden, LaFert Alis, Meir Motors, Red Bull plus the other German group that i can’t spell, ๐Ÿ˜ฎ (Bremegarten) RNHF, BBMF and the other usual participants :dev2: bit greedy me ๐Ÿ™‚
