    Probably duely reinforced though…

IIRC there was an option to build the Highback frames as well via the top/bottom method instead of the port/starboard.The fuse shape is the same, high and lowback from the datum line down.Only way I could get the F12 inner profile for our frames when I was designing it was to use the lowback pressing drawing.
Yes the skin is quite thick on the leading edge.I had the chance to examine a real one on Friday and was conversing with my new boss on how we could wheel it..But thats a loooong way down the track..
    Real planes have props…:p

    About the same here…

2024 T3 or “0” here in Auss. But we are doing a static though.Originally the spec was called DTD 390 and the majority of the frames were 20 IWG or .036″.

I know the Alpine Fighter collection had substantial remains early 2000ish.And I think there are more bits around England as well.Anyone got a list??

    Hmmm Merlins…

How I wish I could save those onto my PC- the one from inside the cockpit in particular.

Ahh technollogy. What you need Lancman is Firefox browser. Many of the plug ins make it possible to search media files on pages and download them onto your Pc.Especially good with Youtube etc.Buuut I didn,t tell you this..In fact I am not here. This is a figment of your imagination..;)

    All that matters….

Replica or not, original percentage I,m not going to argue about..That is one damn nice looking aeroplane and congratulations to all involved.I might have a fetish about WW2 aircraft but the WW1 period really makes a mark on you.I can remember the first Biplane I saw being built and that was as a snot nosed apprentice at QANTAS when Ross Woodcock was building the Avro 504 replicas. Can still remember the smell of woodshavings and the sawdust “everywhere”….:D
