Flat out like a lizard drinking….

Hiya Stormbird.Oii get yer own rain…:D Brisbane keeps pinching all of ours..
Honestly mate I know how bad things are down there so fingers crossed for Noahs second coming soon down there.Had a bit of a rain like phenomenon up here but didn,t last long as always.Getting snowed under with the project, getting busier and busier organising stuff.Got to find a way to function without sleep I think.:cool:The Thumpers were out in force and flying all day, took me a while to get the rumbling out of my head. Not really Ofay on Chippies here in Auss.Really a JDK answer that one..:) They didn,t bring the Fiat or Boomer out of the Hangar but I had a good view of them on the other side from we were sited.Too many people to get a good pic of any of them inside 🙁 .
    Cheers..;)

    The man to talk to.

Would be Graham Adlam here at this forum. It was his Spit replica that was used as a film prop.

    And Chippies!!!!

Spent most of the day talking to people inside Aerotechs hangar about the project so didn,t get a chance to see much of the aerial action.I only got let out for about half an hour to get a feed and take a few pics.Other than the Trojans there were more Yak 52,s and Nanchangs to start up a small communist countries air power. But up in a corner were these beauties…Not one,not two,not three but four of them…

The Trojans were flying all day taking joyrides..Still trying to get the rumbling sound out of my head…Hopefully someone can add some better pics than mine..

    An idea..

Have you tried some of the Aircraft modelling websites and forums?A lot of the paint manufacturers get very close to the authentic colours these days.So a trip down to the local Hobby and Models store might be a good start..Good hunting..

Fridays my short day at work..

Finished putting the cowl fasteners on my bosses new project, cleaned up,pushed the planes outside for a wash and photoshoot then got a chance to fly in the back seat for a refuel trip into town.At the moment still coming down from the buzz and working on calming down.God I love my new job..:D

Two hands are mightier than one..

It is sad seeing these aircraft decline but it sounds like what many museums around the place are having trouble with.Low volunteer numbers. Was just wondering if all the guys on the forum had a chance and got organised a spare weekend with a mop and a bucket the whole crew could get some of the planes cleaned up a bit.It only takes a small crew of cleaners to give a Boeing 747 a go over in a day.Work together and you most likely find that you will enjoy it.In my life I came to the conclusion that talk is cheap.:diablo:
