how long doe’s it take for a fuselage to be built?
With us errr 7 years…
Lovely pics 🙂
a BE2a built to the original specification will teach you about the techniques used at the time, it’s fragility will remind you how brave the people that flew these aeroplanes (and won the odd Victoria Cross in them) were.
Well said…Thats the most important thing….
Is anyone allowed to say who the owner is?

Bwahahaha..Congrats on a beautiful piece mate..:p
Its got a hole…:diablo:
The question I am interested in is what constitutes human remains as if personal clothing was found and a ring then what happened to the bodies?
Have the remains of an aerial mate and worked out the bracket 30053-457.Nothing else.
Success
A few pics of the spine longeron at F12 and F14…Thanks for the pics of the bracket mate but still unsure how it rivets up to the longeron section.
To do it mark out the 30027-43h drawing full size on a bit of board.
Fold up channel in straight lengths then using a male, female die put in bends to suit drawing on board.
Next attach via a strap through F12 to the spine section between F11 and F12.
It will sit properly in the cutouts at F13 but will sit high at F14….
B^gger we thought but if you fabricate the brackets at F14 the channels will twist to mate up to the brackets nicely..Here are the pics..
sh!!!!!!!!!!vers
..grabs shovel…
This was Point Cooks Spitfire recovered a long time ago..
Photo from P Arnold..
And the recovery..
Are you sure those kills weren’t when he was flying the Fw-190?
Not sure will have a look but know he was a very accomplished pilot.
Looks the same as Supermarine drawings..
In any plane an exceptional pilot can prevail..Hans-Ulrich Rudel shot down 9 planes in his aircraft. What was the total of aircraft shot down by Ju87,s?
