Frames 11,12 and 13 are the same from MkI to MkIX.The MkVI,VII and MkVIII lineage differ on F11 shape internally.Good luck 🙂

    …its a pipe dream

I can remember being told that by our Museum Manager. And another high profile historic researcher (cough”Mark12″ cough:p) saying you can,t build a spit from the drawings alone. He was right but gave us the impetus to try harder :diablo:

At least the catering will be nice…

John’s day job as a Project Director of the largest contract foodservice and support service business in the world means he is a specialist in getting things done and growing businesses through sound process, leadership and fostering good relationships. Above all he has the responsibility to ensure the right product and the right person are in place to get the job done. All vital attributes when applied to warbird restoration!

Not as though it sets a precedence with water recoveries. The various Great Lakes aircraft in the states, the Halifax,Greek Stuka,Norwegian Fw190 and most recently the French MkIX Spitfire now at Point Cook undergoing stabilization.
Indeed as with the Condor it will provide a great base for preservation, restoration and possibly rebuild.

Throttle full forward could mean engine was running rough or combat damage so pilot was trying to get all the power out of her as he could before he hit the ground.Starting to think it,s real.
