A bit rattly..
Viagra needed. Was a slight loose fit off my dodgy memory.:)
Can,t remember a spring in the one I saw last year. 😀
BFP mounts.
Bargain. Try manufacturing them.
Bad enough drawing them…Think there’s a spring in there as well.Injection moulding the rubber bit wouldn,t be cheap.
Outstanding!!More photos,more photos!!!
Cutting
Lazer?Go waterjet,no worries on heat effected zones on cut edges. All you need is a Cad file and a good system of organising the parts. All fastener holes can be centre marked..And I have enough trouble doing the Spit so if I was arm twisted enough might be able to help.Ummm how many parts we talking of here and what have I got myself into??:(
Actually I,m amazed the RAAF funded Museum at Point Cook still doesn,t have a P40 or Spitfire in it,s stables.Seeing they and the Boomerang saw much more service than the Mustang.
Mark!!!
Actually we hare having it constructed to house all of Morrabins projects!!:p
The Ca15 will be a nice addition I think.
It,s a small world
I have lots of photos of Pingel, his 109 F etc. Corresponded with Rolf Pingel and sent him, years ago, a desk model of a 109 F cast from alloy of his old aeroplane. He was made up with it!
I recently did a biggish article about his 109 in “Britain at War” magazine and a piece on it in 1979 for “After The Battle” mag.
Cheers Andy,
Ask this as quite a few years ago a small model shop here had a small club of guys whom I was a member. One of the other guys wife was a grandchild,(niece???) of Rolf and remember the conversation regarding the “After the Battle” magazine that was for sale at the store. The wife was quite proud of Rolf and could never understand why he got a hard time from his service as he was a Spanish civil war veteran,a Staffel leader (IIRC) and a very good pilot.Think (chancing old memory here) he was one of the first pilots to shoot down an enemy plane in the 109.As they say chance is sometimes a pilots best friend.
Cheers Mark, can’t make it down but thanks for the headsup.Hope all goes according to plan.
Anyone got pics of Pingles machine? After the war I heard he copped a hard time at home for presenting the RAf with his 109.
What Flight Sim are you using for the Spit and Me109 Pits. They look awsome.
Work in Progress
And totally different from the earlier Grip..
Working on it…:D
Sweet pics
Will it be at legen………”hello there is a white van out front…someone is knocking on the front door……”:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
