    Your building what!!!!

In my mind, it begs the question, if someone had the money and skill to undertake such a static reconstruction, could they apply their efforts to an extinct type, rather than make A.N.Other Spitfire? It is possible!

Thing to remember is that with the spit there is a fair bit of information and knowledge around about it,s construction and parts are still available. There are a lot easier planes out there to build but if accurate drawings aren,t around you would get easily frustrated.Only the real brave take on extinct types 😉

    Happiness is…….

Plus the feeling that you get knowing you did a lot of it yourself.Forming each part is a challenge, especially with the spit. Here is the forward bottom longeron, all handmade.:o

    Prices…

Hi Tony, nice breakdown… 😀 Querie why is the datum longerons dearer than the bottom ones as the forward sections have to be hand made and the back section is over 11 foot long. How did you go with the curved hatsections for F6,7 and 9?Any recent pics?:diablo:

Perspex, steel, aluminium?Have a Front canopy hoop in front of me and it,s steel.the Pru,s used a double layer perspex hood and there were differences on how they were jettisoned I think.
