Still parts at 6AD Oakey??Maybe….:diablo:

Hi guys. Thanks for the info. Our legs are the early splined type so trying to reverse engineer the drawings of the various later Marks to suit the early type is frustrating.Nothing a big hammer and some wood won,t fix when we start to build them.
cheers Ross
Anyone??My drafty is losing a lot of sleep over this and if he goes crazy it will be hard to replace him…
Wow…You do get around..great pic.A good vision of the term solitude.
They were replicas for the film about Charles Kingsford Smith, representing his go at starting an airline. Where they’ve ended up I know not!
Fe2B from “A Thousand Skies” and the Trimotor from the movie “Smithy” are here…

Cheers Mark..A time capsual.Hanna Reitsch?
After all this time I think history gets a bit muddied from peoples perceptions of what happened..Do we have to watch “Piece of Cake ” again?
I,ve heard versions of how the Baron had his Jasta protect him in combat to get his kills up.Cowrdly, maybe but times have changed and so has air combat. We look at things through modern eyes and 90 years of events after the fact to judge him on.
Kerching….Nice one.Will be getting this one I think.Cheers mate
Interesting….
This is what we have…
Cheers awfully ole chap.I,ll be the shady character with the black spitfire T shirt on..Dark sunnies and real (and I mean real old) Akubra.
Fw 149 is the bird your after..I might just make it this year..
Rivet pattern, holes too big, panel shape doesn,t match to where the insignia is on the black and white photo.I doubt spitfire.
To Rivet, thanks for the effort in doing the hard work in getting the girl back on her legs.To the pilot..Good job. From here in Auss all I can do is shout you a virtual ale or two..
