Keep us informed how your display develops, perhaps the forum can help you with advise/parts etc. It certainly did for my Halifax cockpit.

Many years ago the museum I work for as a volunteer used to have a similar canopy in storage, it was cracked lengthwise but the bulges stood out clearly. I believe it came from the closed Twenthe museum. At some point it disappeared from storage. Something that happened regularly to items.

Yes it did and that is how you can identify a Hasting radio operators seat if the headrest fittings are present (I have a Hastings manual somewhere). But you can use it for your display as the seats are identical, it has the upholstery relatively intact usually only the bare frame is left. I have such a bare frame (and one for the navigator) but can’t fit into my cockpit as the floor is at the position of the radio operators table. The Halifax fuselage is quite deep.
    Very nice find.

The Me-323 was an easy prey for marauding fighters and….Marauders. Must have been nervewrecking being a soldier and just sitting there awaiting your fate.

The wingspar is at the museum Gatow Berlin. Standing next to it was a strange feeling, it’s huge and at first I thought it was some sort of bridge.

Perhaps the Kent BOB Museum wants it for their Blenheim IV?

Must be some Halifaxes out there as well. Conservation seems to be quite good.

So EN410 must be one of those that got away. Wonder what Mark12 has to say about this.

Why do it off forum, this forum is a very useful tool for identification of items.

Could you give more information about your organisation, general area of activity, past experiences etc?
Also more pics of parts you have found?

I am interested having been active in this field for many years.
