Ok, can we concentrate again on the fine work on NX611 being done. Perhaps start a new thread regarding how not to do the work to prevent congesting this topic.

No it is, although it would be great if both groups would unite and rebuild a full Whitley airframe. Yes yes I know.

Come to think of it Vince O’Connor also had quite a few Bolingbroke airframes.

Canadian Warplane Heritage by any chance? They used to have almost a dozen Bolingbroke wrecks. Great news by the way.

We’ve never had it so good regarding historic aviation. Thanks to companies like Air Leasing, Historic Flying etc.
They really know what they are doing. And without them there would be nothing to enjoy apart from dusty museum exhibits.
Hats of to them!

Handley Page Hampden and Halifax.
I visited the museum two weeks ago and was very impressed by the collection and the staff. Als very surprised about the amount of RR Vulture bits. Pity though that the Halifax fuselage (roofsection) was hidden behind the clutter.

When it was thè magazine to read. Things have changed however.
Good to keep the UK historic aviation industry busy.

Hi chaps,
Looking for a Mk V/IX Spitfire main instrument panel. The replica ones that are available don’t seem to have the instrument holes drilled.
Doe anyone know a good source for one with all holes drilled too?

I didn’t know the two were owned by the CEO of a Dutch grocery retailer until I read it yesterday in the DDA information magazine. For Dutch aviation fans this is great news especially as TB885 has a 322 squadron history.
Was this earlier reported then? Haven’t seen here on the forum.

According to the Dutch Dakota Association magazine TB885 has a new owner who has also acquired the Mk I project. This info is in the public domain so no embargo?
