Fantastic project Alan, I always loved the FN5, At the old museum at Soesterberg they used to have a complete original turret from a Wellington.

Hi Krupi,
Are you building a panel, a cockpit or the rest too?
Cees
Looking for an observer-type parachute harness (original, repro or whatever) to dress up the Halifax cockpit.
Any condition,
Cheers
Cees
Please not that debate again.
Just enjoy this. I do. Nice livery too.
Cees
What’s that panel from?
Cees
Me too. Must be a Halifax thing.

A few years ago a 109E was recovered by the RNethAF from the IJsselmeer which came done during the May 1940-campaign. So a very historic airframe for
our nation’s history and very worthy to have been put on display at the National museum. A wing and part of the fuselage was recovered. With grinders they removed the “dangerous”
weapons and since then the remains have vanished. If anyone knows more (Eric?) that would be great but I fear the worst.
Cees
Very nice, another (almost) extinct type coming back.
Cees
Same here, how about items from lesser known types.
Cees
Well, we are still working on it, having indentified three previously unknown aircraft in the IJsselmeer in the past few years.
Four new sites will hopefully be investigated this coming summer.

Betty’s bar, York.
I had tea and scones there a few years ago. The signed mirror is still present.

You can always ask Bruce if he has some.

:eagerness:
This is getting more difficult every time, what’s next? A bowl of sea water where once a piece of dissolved aluminium used to be (only joking).
I very much like these identification quests.
Cees
Still working on it Rijnko?
