Use the centre section as the identity. Didn ‘t Paul Coggan use that as his yardstick?

I ordered it two weeks ago so have to wait till august, bummer, so curious after the Griffon Spits.
Volume one has been well thumbed to date and will be in the future, easily one of my favourite
    Books.

Yes, it should be left as is. But not up there. If put on display in a controlled environment and
Properly documented it stands a better chance to last. Up there parts are taken away and
The occasional hillwalker has no idea what the story behind the wreck is.

I have the steering lever (middle pic) surplus, pm me if interested.
It’s available for what it cost me.

In flypast Stuart Howe published some articles about Mossie relics, one of them was the story
Of a house extension built from fuel tank stress doors. He mentioned that the inspection hatches
    Were still to be seen.
We have Ju52 wingspars that served the same function as roof supports.

Fantastic project, massageing a Barracuda out of a heap of scrap.
    Great reading too.

To deepen this query, the flight engineer panels/bomb aimer panels usually had sockets
    You could plug it into.

You can go to Trenton to see the Halifax and a bunch of other aircraft. I did it by train (two hours) but loved every second of it.

What a strange post on a historic aircraft forum.

A new find is the lower aft section of the canopy and the round vertical part that fits onto this, pieces
Of perspex are still in situ. Traces of camouflage remain.

    Excellent news, well done!
I wonder why though, such articles are happily published in the UK papers despite the fact that the UK authorities
don’t give a toss about bringing home the missing aircrew.
Would be nice if the papers start campaining about that.

I suspect that by TSR.II Graham means the Swordfish prototype, certainly a multi-role aircraft if ever there was one! You could probably go further back and say the Bristol F.2b was the first real MRCA, although of course it wasn’t officially designed to a multi-role spec. Then there’s the various versions of FE2, designed as a fighter(!), and then used for just about every other front line role.

    Anyway, back to Mosquitoes…

The prototype Swordfish was TSR IIRC

I believe these were used in multi-engined RAF aircraft.
