In Holland there’s a Lancaster front section project that has come to a grinding halt a few years ago. Almost all equipent and fittings had been collected, pity really.

Great footage,
The Boly/Blenheim is a very classic aircraft and needs all the attention it can get. I once negotiated with Vince about a cockpit section but the difficult ways of Canadian Heritage laws and shipping put paid to that. But it still lingers on in the back of my mind.
Hi Deryck,
Back from hibernating already?
Cees
Stirling surely Cees :diablo:
After all they did build parts of Stirlings at Long kesh
Fantastic job on the FN4 though 😎
John
John,
The Stirling is already getting a lot of attention on this forum so
the Whitley is next:dev2:
Cees
Any pics of the HP 0/400 project?
I am building one too ……. but in scale 1/28:D
Cees
Hi folks,
At long last I’ve finished the FN4a turret I was restoring for the Ulster Aviation Society. See the finished pics. at,

Hi John,
That’s fantastic to see what a huge job it was but the result is superb.
Very sophisticated technology for it’s time,
Now build a Whitley tail section like the Belgains did;)
Cees
How about a project simlilar to the reconstructed Defiant?
Wooden construction with metal skinning, would give the idea of a metal airframe for the time being, until something more definitive could be built.
In the Netherlandse there are plans to reconstruct a Fokker T V twin engined
bomber
Cees
That CAD drawing could at least be a great starting point for a GRP
replica or even a metal skinned full size example for museum display at Hendon.
At least it’s a start.
Cheers

My god! I’ve just remembered loaning it to them in 1973!
It’s time I got it back.
Reaches for phone….
Alan,
Did you have a contract with them at the time? These things
happen over time, after a while they “forget” who owns the
item. Happend over here many times.
Cheers
Cees
Not to mention almost half a Lancaster
Cees
in competion with the “other” bomber of course:D
hear hear Martin
Cees
Pilot of Halifax NA337?
Cees
Hi John,
Good to see things getting sorted and now get on with that Stirling;)
What’s the next step as soon as the workshop has been finished?
Cees
Nice tailsection, just a lick of paint and it is as good as new.
Cees
And what about the very complete airframe of an early Messerschmit 109 that was found in a bombcrater and the collection of over a dozen engines on Frankfurt airport(IIRC)?
There must be more.
Cees
Looks great,
Cees
