Is the UK planning on getting any SDBs? I did hear that Lockheed might offer the FB-22 to us in the future, an exciting prospect if the design ever gets off the ground!

    Bird Flu

I hear the disease has reached as far as Greece now.Personally, I’m glad the UK and European governments are taking it seriously, but the way the media portrays the future is a little scary. Then again, they do hype anything.

What does the rest of the world think?

Could hydrogen be used as a fuel for aircraft? You could generate electricity through a renewable means, and then get hydrogen from water, so supply is possible on a large scale. Actually, i think it is already used in scramjet engines being experimented with. Any thoughts?

Either open a bicycle shop, or start a buisiness fermenting alcohol based fuels. The latter are actually quite a good idea, they used alcohol fuel vehicles in Brazil for years apparently.

Has anyone else heard about the progress made on the Nulear fusion reactor being built by the EU?

    Shame

Its a shame that it takes a terrible event such as this for people to burry their differences and help one another. I wonder what this menas for future pakistan-india relations?

I did, but we have a two minute silence for so many things that it does seem like we should do more. Is there a memorial for the London victims planned?

    RAF typhoon designations

The two types of the typhoon the RAF currently field are the F.2 (fighter mark 2) and the Typhoon T.1 (trainer mark one), but as the typhoon is multi role, capable of the ground attack and recon roles, shouldn’t the designation Typhoon FGR.1/2 etc be applicable? This designation was used for the multi roled RAF Phantoms, so why not the Typhoons?
