Is that including the ones who are subsequently found innocent?
I just wonder how many innocent people the supporters of the death penalty are willing to sacrifce just so that they can feel a little bit better, is 1/10 convictions an acceptable margin of error?

I imagine that all satelites would require a degree of EM shielding, simply because in space EM forces are more prevalent.
I found this article to be quite interesting on the general topic:

You must be thinking of the T-45 Goshawk
The Hawk has never been carrier capable, I don’t think it even has arrestor gear.
Some land based aircraft do, but it’s only for emergency stops at land based airfields.

How would the 146 compare with the C-27/G.222 or the An-70?
It might be a little faster, but other than that I can’t see any advantage?
Yes, commonality of the inventory. Or you do the same as the UK E3’s, probe and receptacle.
Granted, but is that a strong enough arguement?
Boom refueling might be best for large aircraft, but for small ones probe and drogue seems far more suitable.
imho it’s about time the USAF started to switch it’s tactical aircraft to probe and drogue tanking; is there any good reason to keep boom and recepticle tanking for fighters?

I recently had the chance to go aboard U-505 in the Chicago museum of Science and Industry, was an excellent exhibit but I think they could have gone into more detail about the vessel and life on it rather than just the story of how it was captured.
Inspired me to re-watch Das Boot when I got home anyway! 😀
So what are everyone else’s favourite Submarine movies?
