1. In the lower aft fuselage, forward of the rear airstair.
2. It will more than likely be a plug-type door, it opens into the cabin.
The Boeing 727 also has a rear entry door.
However the slide was not deployed. Maybe the light load of the flight enabled the flight attendant in the aft to redirect passengers to the aft service door on the left side of the aircraft.
Just a guess.

I assume the slide pack is the yellow “box” on the lower frame?

Seconded, lovely. I think it is really neat that each of their B717s has a different variation of the design. Their Nordic neighbours can learn a thing or two from them.
I believe it’s an emergency exit on the MD-80’s.
Very nice. The LAN B777 is an impressive sight.

Why would you want/need to live for over 1,000 years? Did you not hear, 21st October is all the lifespan you are going to need.

fah619, I take it you are anti-Airbus? What are you trying to prove with yours posts? That the Airbus A330 is unsafe, or that modern Flight Computers are unsafe?
Any computer is only as good as the inputs it receives, as you proved about with the AeroperΓΊ B757-200 Flight 603, or the Emirates A340-500 Flight 407.
