I can read and write Russian. I studied it in school. I can understand it, but it is a little hard to speak it back.
Now, – how to reproduce that snow…….. 😀

Flour?
I think one of the best airshow performers is the MiG-21 Lancer flown by retired commander Dorel Luca.
I heard a story that happend in Austria, I think. The commander was performing the aerobatic maneuvers when a foreign military man came to the Romanian stand and asked the personel: “did you put FBW in the Lancer?”. And the reply was: “No, the system is called Fly-by-Luca”
….and I`m obviously biased… 😎
The good old Cold War days. Sigh. 8(
Not really. The photo is pretty recent. There is a Mi-17 with a ramp and not a clam-shell door and also the KO-50 heater is hanged not “welded” to the starboard fuel tank. This modification is recent. I`d say this photo isn`t more than 5 years old.
Afghan Hip crashes in the Panjshir Valley 😮
Is that for real?!!! Anymore info about it ?!
Wind tunnel test models probably machined out of steel to minimize model structural problems in the tunnel. The oversized area for sting attachment indicates a suction system for testing inlet flow. It seems someone is curious about B-2 and X-29 performance capabilities.
They resemble, but are not B-2 or X-29.
F-117 = Marshmelo
F-22A = Tiny dust particle
F-35 = Baseball😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 🙂
F-35 is less stealthier than F-117? Here a marshmelo is quite small…a lot smaller than a baseball.
The beast that is replacing them is the F-22 that is now in service (at least as many Raptors are now in operational status as all the NightHawks ever built), with a higher payload, longer range, much higher speed, and a good air-air capability as well.
Does the F-22 have the same A2G capability as the F-117?

Gotta mail?
It`s in Romanian. It says about the crew:
Commander Adrian Marinescu born on February 15th 1962 in Bucharest. He has 2600 flight hours, from which 2400 on the Puma. He is an officer since 1984, pilot first class, flight instructor in all meteo conditions and he is also head of section at the RoAF headquarters (sorry, Statul Major I don`t know how to translate). From April until July 2006 he was the commander of Kabul Int`l Airport in Afghanistan.
Leutenant Adrian Cioarba, born on February 11th 1979. He is an officer since 2001 and a pilot on Puma since 2004 having 108 flight hours from which 58 hours on Puma.
Maistrul militar Constantin Hurchi born on July 30th 1967. He is a flight mechanic since 1990. In 2005-2006 he took part in missions to help people in the flooded aerias.
The helicopter crashed during a training flight and it didn`t carried any armament aboard. The DoD makes all efforts to find the missing crew. To the crash site a medevac helicopter was dispatched. The accident is investigated by specialist of RoAF and military prosecutors.
Today the divers found and recovered all 3 bodies of the crew and the remains of the helicopter wreckage under water.
That colour isn`t hard on your eyes. It doesn`t tire your eyes.
For now the cause of the accident is unknown. The divers are still looking for the missing crew under the water.
I have spoken to the flight mechanic last Saturday. He seemed a nice guy.
S!
Ah, thank you for the clarify.
