Indeed there isn’t. I am sure that their constitutional right to bear arms is a great consolation to those parents wondering what to do with the presents they lovingly bought for their six year old kids that are now bloodied corpses, cold in the ground on Christmas Day.

You’re confusing the UK def of liberal with the US version. They are about as opposite as it’s possible to get. In the US liberal is taken to mean someone who wants the Govt to control every aspect of peoples lives, taxing success to the point of causing a recession, unemployment to be cured by the Govt hiring more people to work for them (leading to more taxes to pay for them), never ending welfare checks, govt pensions, education for anyone including college for people who can’t read or write (seen this myself), No concern over the debt problem in the US which are currently in excess of $85Trillion when unfunded govt worker pensions are included, not the $16Trillion the media talks about etc etc.
No resemblance to the UK definition at all.

No NRA members that I am aware of. Membership is open to anyone, ownership of a firearm isn’t a requirement. I signed up one time for 5 years but didn’t renew it owing to the amount of junk mail they sent out. The first of which arrived within 2 days of joining asking me to renew for a longer period.

And there we have it, from a man who admits having several firearms, who at the time of posting freely, he is, quote “A little Buzzed” which I take it to mean,*****d.

Not sure what the problem is with him admitting he’s put a few away? I have been known to imbibe a few & I own a few cars & guns. Doesn’t mean I mix booze & firearms any more than I mix booze & driving.
At this point no one has suggested a BAC limit for posting on the internet 😉

The stuff for my Krag is only slightly more expensive than .303.

I was just pointing out the absurdity of people who only give a damn about deaths if they happen to people who “look like them”. We have Obumble going off about gun control while his administration has been illegally smuggling guns to the Mexican drug cartels & no one seems to give a flying fudge about it.

The only advice I can offer about Sabers is this:

Do NOT! under ANY circumstances! look at ones that’s been sectioned!!. I did once & immediately suffered an almost overwhelming urge to weld my toolbox shut & throw it in the nearest canal.

What I am getting at, is that Mexico, has had gun ownership taken away, which was immediately replaced by the freedom to purchase knives, both killing machines in their own right, but only able to kill perhaps one or two folks at a time,with a knife.

Death by firearm in Mexico makes the figures for the US pale into insignificance. Good thing they banned guns 😉
