I’m sorry. You’ve lost me. I was talking about hunting not target shooting which I can almost understand; but hunting? What purpose does it serve in a modern society in 2012? It might be enjoyable for some humans but certainly not for the animal. Fun and enjoyment out of killing? What sort of person would do that?

Anyway, I think it would be helpful to all of us if you replied to what was actually written rather what you supposed was written.

Number of firearm related homicides in US: 4.14 per 100000 of population
Number of firearm related homicides in England and Wales: 0.07 per 100000

Just to clarify, I think Bill Hicks explains it a little better.

    Simple statistics?

    Just saying…..

Hunting? Seriously? Don’t you have shops?

Let’s not get over-excited eh? Most coppers are doing a decent job amid cutbacks and increasing hostility. There are however a few, as there has always been, that bring the police service into disrepute. This case is is one of those. This particular officer shouldn’t never have been anywhere near a uniform.

I completely agree that something is not right here. How can an inquest verdict be “unlawful killing” and yet a court returns a verdict of not guilty to manslaughter. That effectively means that either the inquest verdict was wrong or the court verdict was wrong. I think I know which one it is.
With a history such as this particular police officer had, he should never have been there in the first place.

A Lonely Place to Die (2011)
A group climbing in Scotland come across a kidnap victim and incur the wrath of the kidnappers. Pretty good in a gritty British movie type way. Worth watching.

    Dorian Gray (2009)
Ben Barnes and Colin Firth in an adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s novel. Classic Gothic horror story very well done.

We Need to Talk about Kevin (2011)
Tilda Swinton in an award-winning role as a mother of a badly behaved boy. Moving and harrowing, the story is told as flashbacks. Powerful stuff.

I think the roundels were the same size. No, if you look in the first picture, under the wing, look at the gear door. I put them the wrong way round, the lower pointy bit should be at the rear. I even put them the right way to cut out the decals for the serial properly. Doh!

If the Airfix 1/72 kit is even half way as good as the 1/48 scale version it will be a fine kit.

I made the Airfix 1/48 Spitfire F.22 in 603 Sqn markings a year or two ago.

A cup of tea drunk at that perfect temperature – sweetened and without milk.

An evening “nippy sweety”; a decent sized measure of scotch with a single ice cube.

Feeling the hair on the back of your neck stand up as that favourite piece of music starts.

See the sun shine through dark clouds (seen that a lot recently)

Getting a picture accepted on airliners.net (actually that’s a big event)
