Thats beers still in the pump for next year.
🙂
Agreed about the Tirpitz flypast – I presume its to do with the BBMFs rules about formating with other a/c. Surely the organisers knew of their policy?
Vermin. Utter vermin.
Try as I might, I really can’t see ANY solution to Islamic terrorists. The problem is that their ideology is so different to the West, there can be no common ground. It’s a sorry mess, and there will be more atrocities to come.
Very nice pictures young sir. Bet those ears are still ringing! 🙂
Third crew member is reported to be “comfortable” in hospital in Nottingham. At least some good news…
Cretinous remark from Andrew Sinclair on BBC Look East at lunchtime… “Why are the RAF using such old planes?”
Sorry to ressurect this post “from the dead”, so to speak, but thought I’d have a peek at what I missed. Been to Rougham for the previous two shows, but missed this year’s “thanks” to a family holiday. Looks like I missed a good ‘un. Lovely shots BTW.
I find that shows here in the UK are excellent for stocking up ahead of the “winter drought” of aviation! I’ve got a nice store of books and kits ahead of this year’s “hibernation”…
If Coltishall’s Families’ Day is anything to go by, then there should be some “other” items there. Have a good trip if you get to go.
Any pics of the Boscombe Harvard?
Vulcans have a lovely smell. You can still smell the Norwich example by standing under the gear bays. Lovely smell – old electrical wiring.
Yep – same here. Probably still make ’em. Horrible things. Always worn with grey socks and shorts.
Why do parents do that?
My parents used to dress me in those bloody sandals as well. 😀
I seem to recall that one of the Gnats came to grief during filming. Its a dire film.
