Meanwhile, back on planet Earth……

Interesting that the smaller energy companies couldn’t understand why the larger ones have put their prices up and this morning on R4, one them was accusing the “Big 6” of running a cartel. He suggested it was pointless having an enquiry into the energy market as it was very obvious what was going on.

Interesting that they tried to blame the prices rises on government “green” taxes and suggested that they should be removed to general taxation. That rather defeats the purpose of the tax in the first which is to try and get people to reduce their power usage.

It depends on whether we want to become an engineering and technological backwater.
Britain invented the railways and it’s an anachronism that we ended up so far behind other nations with repect to high speed transportation.

I didn’t “ask” for anything. All I did was make a comment about posts that would better served by PM (as would this probably) and all you do is resort to abuse.

You know nothing about me and the fact that I cannot make a simple comment about you and charliehunt’s exchanges without it triggering a tirade of abuse suggests to me that I’m not the one who needs to get a life.
I appreciate that this forum must mean a great deal to you and for that I can only feel sympathy for you.

Perhaps charliehunt and Lincoln 7 should get their own forum. Most threads would then remain mercifully free from their inane ramblings.
