The Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum at Flixton has five gliders on display. A link to some photos below:

I went to Alleberg in May this year and found the collection to be fantastic.

There are gliders on display in museums all over europe. I think gliders will become more popular in UK museums now that gliders are allocated UK civil marks unless they are EASA annex A machines.

I currently own 19 vintage gliders at Keevil in Wilts including the 3 ex ATC gliders in the photo that forms the Vintage Glider Club website home page.

Do you know the history of this glider and which CCF unit did it serve with. Posting on the internet has provided me with photos of Grasshopper XA240 which I owned and Eton WP269.

Brize Ntn may not have as many movements as any decent size regional airport. However its inadequate passenger and cargo handling facillities are already at full stretch.

I also not with interest that the units which make up the A4 hub at Wittering were all moved as co-location is suppose to be the way ahead and save money. I guess little money will have been saved if it all moves again.

More short sightedness with short term savings which will be far outweighed by increased costs in the longer term.

I wonder if Mr Hodgson wants to sell the glider?

The Oly on display at the Millom museum is BGA514 / AMW, production number EON/O/015.

There is a photo of the glider at:

What is the identity of the T.8 that lives in it?

As a collector of Slingsby gliders I must congratulate you for saving an equally important glider.

The BGA 804 at Keevil was previously at Dishforth! As the owner of it I am also interested to know how to gliders claim to have the same identity!

I would certainly be interested in an invite to inspect the MAM example.

T.8 Tutor at Keevil apparently started life as a T.7 Cadet Mk1 VM589 prior to having new wings fitted to become a T.8.
