An appology – I did not have my glasses on and read the information from the wrong line on my database.

I am confused as to why the glider has a rudder with Clevelands on as the history I have for LPU is as ‘Viscout’ quotes.

Perhaps the rudder is not the original from the glider and fitted at a later stage in its life as the Cleveland club did have Tutor RAFGSA 160 which was written off 4/61. Somewher I have a photo of this glider which I must did out to look at the colour scheme.

I think this is great news. Its one area of the UK ‘s aviation heritage that is generaly overlooked.

Well done! I think it fits the aircraft’s classic lines well.

The glide performance may not be that good but it does however loop rather well. One of my 2 Swallows took part in the Air Cadet flypast at RIAT on the Sunday last year and hopefully be making an appearance at another airshow this year.
