Embraer KC-390 Achieves First Dry Refueling Contacts

A Brazilian air force F-5 Tiger plugged into both refueling hoses being tested from one of the prototype KC-390s during a sortie near Santa Cruz airbase, Rio de Janeiro, on Feb. 19, the company announced on Feb 20 at the IDEX defense show here. The trial follows proximity testing with two F-5s in late 2016.

The head of the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) says the outer wings of 32 carrier-based C-models need to be replaced to carry the Raytheon AIM-9X Sidewinder, the aircraft’s primary dogfighting weapon.
The U.S. Navy variant experienced an undisclosed amount of oscillation or turbulence during flight trials with the AIM-9X in December 2015, and Lt. Gen. Christopher Bogdan says aircraft already delivered need to be retrofitted with strengthened wings.

Engineers have already produced an enhanced outer wing design, which is now undergoing flight testing. The issue has impacted the timeline for fielding AIM-9X, which is being rolled out for the Navy in Block 3F. “Once the new design is verified to provide the require strength, the fix will be implemented in production and retrofitted to existing aircraft by swapping existing outer wings with the redesigned ones,” Bogdan writes.

You are confusing aerodynamics and the artistic work of a designer.
You Haack body has no wing for example. With the Stilleto mentioned above and the F84, we have a similar confusion, that a slender body will perform better.
As an example, already mentioned to you times ago, what drive the transonic drag is the body volume section and its evolution according to a sin law*. This includes the section of the fuselage, wings, tail surfaces etc… This why the F102 with its bulges on the rear performed better aerodynamically than without (and “sleeker” it was before the remodeling work). Same goes for the Buccaneer.
It is important to seat on a rational base when it comes to complex system as are aircraft. They often constitute a sum of basic problem that it is good to have some sens with before discussing it in overall. You should take the time to clear your mind of such false opinions.

Drag has nothing to do with being Sleek. Look at the X-3 Stiletto. It was a transonic disaster (and much more) when the NA F-100 despite looking fatter was more efficient in the same regime.

Figure it out Argentina has not only pasture and cattle but also big cities, industries, ports etc… that need an Air umbrella just like Paris or Berlin. A supersonic fighter jet with a good rate of climb and potent radar is in need with capabilities out at sea and on ground attack mission that deter enough a potential adversary to force him to mass its forces first.
Regarding the advanced Bae Hawk that was discarded by the team of Northrop and Bae: I wonder how much of the new released advanced Hawk in India would have been part of the package:

First German military helicopter NH90 arrived in Mali

An NH90 helicopter configured for medical evacuation was flown to Bamako, Mali, on 27 January by an Antonov An-124-100 of Volga-Dnepr Airlines, reports IHS Jane’s Defence Weekly, which notes that it will be followed by three more NH90s and four Tigers. After arriving in Bamako, the helicopters will fly 1 200 km to Gao in support of the UN Multidimensional Integrated Stabilisation Mission in Mali (MINUSMA).
