25000€ for your Uncle, your daughter or your own mother, Germanwing Said

Some of the close relatives of those killed in the Germanwings plane crash in March have rejected the carrier’s offer of 25,000 euros ($27,000) in compensation payments for their pain and suffering.
    […]
The 25,000-euro offer is on top of 50,000 euros already paid as immediate financial assistance to relatives. German law does not usually provide for a separate award for pain and suffering
    […]
Relatives living in Germany may also claim an additional 10,000 euros each as compensation for any health problems without needing to offer formal proof, the company said.

The grotesque has reached no end.

cell phones have been collected […] but […] they “hadn’t been exploited yet.” !?!

A strange statement that won’t help those mourning their losses.

    Notice the plural form.

The LEVCON’s antennaes might not be there for signal sensing (see Typhoon and older post of mine).

Dutch Investigation Board: Sources say MH17 report blames Russian missile

According to the source, the report says it was a Buk missile — a Russian surface-to-air missile — that was used, launched from a village in Russian rebel controlled territory.
    […]
Report’s details […] gives a minute by minute timeline of flight MH17. This source also says not only does the draft report pinpoint where the missile was fired from it identifies who was in control of the territory and pins the downing of MH17 on the pro-Russian rebels.

    Extensive use of filler.
They really have a problem with tolerances among their subcontractor.
The step to the PakFa will be hard for some of them. Or is that they outsource to swap prod?

It is high subsonic, NG made a book where they discuss it.

    http://www.northropgrumman.com/Capabilities/B2SpiritBomber/SpiritOfInnovationBook/Pages/default.aspx

It is supposed to go near supersonic at sealevel but never above mach 1.

I had to read once again the doc and confirm that we still can’t rule out this hypothesis.

But it does not mean that it is true.

High subsonic is general in the 0.9 range. Geometry and law of physics can’t aniliate any doubts.

EDAxit for the “European” MALE UAV:

France, Germany, and Italy are keeping the European Defence Agency (EDA) well away from their collaborative unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) programme, despite it originally being touted in 2013 as an “EU flagship project”, according to EU and industry observers.

    …And

“Each of the three main companies that would work on the MALE [Airbus, Dassault, and Alenia Aermacchi] has its own idea about the engine, for example. You need to get them together, but the EDA has had a difficult task doing this. The companies don’t want to address this topic with us,” the official said.

Ripped apart: Colombian Black Hawk chopper explodes in minefield (VIDEO)

Out of the 15 soldiers aboard the chopper, four were killed and six others wounded.

By the way, FARC and Gov of Columbia agreed on a draft of what could be called a Peace treaty this week in Cuba:

    July 12, 2015

In a joint communiqué, government and FARC negotiators agree to speed the remaining negotiations, to prioritize discussion of a definitive bilateral ceasefire, and to pursue de-escalation measures. The FARC agrees to suspend all offensive actions. The government pledges, after July 20, “to set in motion a process of de-escalation of military actions” corresponding to the FARC’s suspension of offensive actions. A representative of the UN Secretary General and a delegate of the government of Uruguay will be charged with supporting verification and monitoring.

And the new paneling at the wing root? 😉
Notice also the same material usage (strake/Wedge).

But I am sure that we will hear soon in the press that those are sign of of fantastic increase in RCS…

    EDIT:
Just noticed the wedged trailing edges. Yum, that Typhoon rocks!
