Also, the number and conformity with the 35’s engine bay dimension means only one thing: the outer diameter of the core will be smaller meaning that the engine will reach better performances with less fuel. So you can draw from that, that a proper engine developed without any geo constraints will even have a better overall efficiency than what is announced in every domain or could be operated in a less stressful domain (more range, more durability etc…).

Don’t forget that lower speed requires taller gear legs, hence more weight. The F-22 is short on leg for plenty of reason and one is to make with a lighter landing gear since the need to carry voluminous loads under the belly is near to zero.
Given the FBW beauty of the beast (I am not talking about the shinning beauty of the poster, obviously), they certainly used the Naval requirement to draw the landing gear geometry, then the landing bay doors then got to choose the landing speed of the A version inside their design margin. So, I am not sure that both value can be compared. We have been through a generation in design… confidence.

Airbus Helicopters launches 5-bladed H145 upgrade
The blades incorporate the latest airfoil design to produce more thrust than previous blades at the same power. While five blades have more drag than four blades in a rotor, Humpert said improvements to the aerodynamics of the rotor cuff of the blade had actually allowed the new H145’s blades to provide more lift. “This is the aerodynamic evolution which is technically behind it,” he said.
