More Rafale in India at the epicenter of large divergent interests
The government is now looking at a follow-on order to buy more Rafale jets, which will be in addition to the 36 bought in September last year for $8.9 billion. The IAF is also keen on buying more of these warplanes, according to sources.

No. Power generation got airbone long ago. Refining of present and “innovative” solutions are firmly expected in the next future. We are talking about several MW. No need for a battery etc… More over, emergency Fuel to Electricity conversion solutions does exist and ready to get airborne.

To this, an opponent not targeting human aboard will gain point and momentum on the geopolitical scene where the end of conflicts will be played or half solved. It has been discussed earlier, but IMOHO, missiles will close on targets without any explosive fuel left on-board: Either in a pure kinetic attempt to strike or with an air- plasma discreet guidance mode, either with a pressure driven phase change for example (solid to liquid fuel) that will prevent a laser (a thermal and phase medium) to ignite easily a missile. In any way, missiles will have to adapt but will maintain their BVR domain. Laser will simply prevent the surge of effective missile design by phasing out a lot of them coming from emerging market.

interesting but still, manoeuvrability at alt is dictated by the amount of lift you can generate. A larger drone will outmanoeuvre a micro drone and probably given range of detection abd tie to coast (think balloon operating time, time to climb and then the time needed for the drones to deploy) and you have a spread pattern that can be outflanked by an appropriate re-routing.
It’s an interesting concept but very similarly outmatched from inception like was the point defense rocket fighter.

After a deep though,it came to me that buoyancy is the way to go here. A semi-rigid kamikaze high alt drone would do it according to the(little red) book. High alt means less dynamic pressure and with gas encapsulated at much lower alt in a semi rigid hull, there is enough lifting power, low weight to carry both enough explosive and guidance hardware to target, hit and damage a drone. Take into account the soaring acceleration and you’ll probably could discard any power engines with some sort of controlled ballistic trajectory.
I once made a note on something like that but you can reach a speed compatible with a kinetic kill (remember that high alt planes are fragiles with light structures, large wings and unstable balance of forces in their cruise altitude)

Take the time to read the whole document instead of trying to lecture above topics you only marginally know, and you will see that 3 times more expensive is not MCO (and CFPH) but scheduled maintenance, and that is relative to previous plane like super etendard or mirage 2000. NOWHERE it says that Rafle CFPH or mco is three times higher than M2000.
