Some lovely stuff indeed. The Hurricane trio is a modern shot though, as is, I suspect, the MC.202.
Yup – and the Do-335 flying shot “Yellow 10” is doctored too – a plastic model set up to look like the real thing.
And the Ki-61 “Tony” is a model, too.

Important to remember that bombers are to drop bombs with. Sometimes people die as a result of this activity. We (I include myself here) sometimes forget that these are weapons. Not toys. Not a political statement, just a point of view!

The excellent shot you posted looking at the underside of the P51 seems to have an Australian serial, or am I mistaken?

that’s one of the few NAA Mustang II’s (P-51A) for the RAF – 50 built, serials FR889 – FR939.
