    To all

    XH568 last flew in Sept 1996, the last flight being the transit from Jersey to Bruntingthorpe. WT333 was sold by CAP in 1997 to R Wintle and A Perks who have kept the aircraft in working order since the purchase. Two Avon 109’s were recently purchased from Stafford to eventually alow the aircraft to be taxied.

    XH568 has been gradually spares recoverd to support WK163.
    Contrary to Mr Burke’s post there are no plans to scrap this airframe! No decision has yet been made as to its future.

    The aircraft has been repainted as an MR2 of 38 Sqn based at
    Khormaksar in the 1960’s. Overall dark sea grey with white top decking.
