ahhh perfect 🙂
Cheers 🙂
i the realism is with this topic, no one is going to see quite eye to eye with other peoples plans or ideas, since everyone would do things slightly differently
of course people would have reservations about this, or any other restoration of a rare aircraft, i always thought the restoration of the FW189 uhu to flight was risky, considering its a unique aircraft
Ben 🙂
If the government were funding this potential restoration then I’m with you, but as its a private owner contemplating the rebuild of their own machine then its a different matter (in my mind).
I.e
its up to them? since its theirs and their money?
while im under the strong belief that one should be allowed to do as they please with their own property, i can understand your point cee’s
my idea would be to get a halifax flying 😉
noice 😉
reminds me of the buccaneers from thunder city in the film Lord Of War 😀
i cant help with you’re query mate but what you guys have achieved is astounding 🙂 keep up the good work 🙂
i would have thought that the “funds” would be put in by the panton brothers?
Indeed. But it was more the piston-engined types I was thinking of. They are never even close to realistic.

I bet the red tape alone in flying one of these must take as long as the building !?
the valiant crashed on its test flight i think, there have been two colossal 20ft + span B52 models to date, both have crashed and been destroyed
banter ftw 😀
i am interested though, does anyone know anything about this bomber? 🙂
ah, but have you seen this?http://www.largemodelassociation.com/keith_mitchell_TSR2.htm
I had drafted a 1/4 scale one myself, but quickly realised that it was beyond my time, skills, and wallet 🙁 looking into some other projects though 🙂
talk to the LMA about it (large model association) though be careful. before proposing such a large model, you’re likely to get your teeth bitten out …
whats the out of service date for the tristar?
