thats a brilliant advert, i fail to see what it has to do with vodka, but who cares lol
😮 she’s out of the hangar now, could today be the day? 😀

its disgusting 🙁
arent the last three PR.9s effectively life expired? ive just been reading vulcan 607, it has a picture of one of the first victors painted black with silver wings and a red cheatline down the either side of the fuselage from nose to tail, that looked stunning. it would be nice to see dx’s victor painted up like that……… or flying like that hehe
Im sure bex would agree with me on this, but i for one would love to see a couple more canberra’s on the uk circuit, certainly not quite as demanding as a vulcan? 😀
Anyone hear about the fleet of australian catalina’s that were towed out and scuttled in the sea after WW2? read it in a book the other day
that sounds ace, im off to cosford sometime this week, see the other TSR.2 😉 also started building my massive one about a month ago, the garage is rather full of fuselage at the moment 😀 im going to take the project to uni with me and see if i can occupy a workshop somewhere, take care
Ben
i must confess i have been confined to the sandy beaches of cornwall for 6 weeks, haha though my grandad is hopefully going to take me to see don knight sometime soon, apparently they are friends LOL! anyway yes its awesome, i almost throttled my uncle for saying that it would have been a tremendous failure no matter what had happened, such blasphemy will never be uttered in my house 😉 haha
went to see the one at duxford during flying legends, 222’s presence is just breathtaking it really is amazing to look at, huge hulking machine, sat there brooding like some gigantic eagle *dreams wistfully* oh well whats the problem with dreams? 😀
there should be a tearful smiley on here somewhere
WOW, first flight is actually not far off! after all the endless wondering and doubts, it looks like she will actually fly, and soon! someone had best video it! 😀
i still dont understand why no one has mentioned the republic XF-84H, i seem to recall the americans wanted to break the sound barrier with an aeroplane and this was the result, 520 mph max speed with an 5850 hp turboprop, sounds like a hell of an aircraft, though the sound of the prob caused nausea and headaches among the groundcrew, i can see why :diablo:

check out this page, gives a fairly complete overview.
i would hope so 🙂 just looked at the webcams on the tvoc website, the only major part that i can see needs refitting looks like the nose randome, everything else looks to be in place 😀 cant wait!!!
its fantastic to progress, keep up the hard work guys, she looks fantastic 😀
all of those are brilliant aircraft, i would make two changes if it were me. i would replace the sr71 with the TSR.2 because i feel that it is the most beautiful aircraft from that era and, has the most astounding performance in my opinion :). secondly, i would change the 707 for the DC-8 because again on looks the DC-8 beats the 707, again a personal thing but hey. my main reason however is that the DC-8 is, to the best of my knowledge, the only commercial subsonic jetliner to have gone supersonic. 😀 that must have been one hell of a ride! :diablo:
