i agree with you when it comes to supporting old heavies, and yet i would love to see a vulcan fly. i would advise though, that anything with regard to a certain vulcan flying again would be a big can of worms to open, [B]yet again[B] everyone considers their favorite aircraft to be the one most deserving of support/ large donations. no one can say who deserves it more 🙂

i have to say that that sounds like it was one hell of an airshow, pity the english aviation industry has little to show for itself in the form of experimental aircraft anymore 🙁

okay okay okay, “united Kingdom” will that suffice? :p

I always thought that FW190’s Were smaller than the spitfire or 109? the spit is 4 feet shorter but has a 2 foot larger wingspan. certainly was supposed to be one of the best fighters performance wise of WW2

still, even if they are ex buchons, Damiler benz engined 109’s are damn rare, even rarer if you are looking at real ww2 ones, draws me back to fond memories of black 6, i think i have video of the first time they started her up post restoration somewhere, i seem to remember that initially they span the inertia start up too fast and she didn’t start, such a pity she was a gorgeous aircraft. these new build 190’s look like serious pieces of kit, whats the performance like compared to the original?

airworthy Damiler Benz 109’s are rarer than hell though. there cant be that many around that can fly! the chap that recovered the FW189 has an almost complete emil with its engine, a good project???

the third aircraft is a bit too low! was anyone at brize norton family day a couple of years back when the vc10 did a flyby with full flap, and idle engines, as soon as he got overhead, flaps up and whacked the throttle forward? gazeebo’s went everywhere :D:D:D also heard about buccaneers in the american desert taking the tops of sand dunes with their wingtips they were that low! awesome 😀

When she finally does fly i believe that this will generate a massive increase in public interest, as it is i don’t think that too many people outside the aviation world know of their plans to fly her, as soon as she is seen and heard, i think it will make a difference. i have every faith in that she will fly, they have done a magnificent job all the best to them! 😀
