A dassault falcon business jet. As for the version, i can’t tell from the front as they are all the same.
The dassault mercure has featured in the “guess the plane” competitions that often, that probably every regular visitor on this board knows this plane inside and out! 😀
if Germanwings is all sold out you can also try Hapag Lloyd Express. They are also big there.
I won’t be coming, i have been there once and find it quite a dull place. Most of the movements are at night when UPS wakes up.
there was a saab 50 but that has been many years back. I can’t find any more info on it on google. Back home I’ll try a more extensive search (if my connection has finally been repaired 😡 ) but i am on my lunchbreak now and the minutes are ticking away!
crossair only had the saab 340 and 2000. The 2000 only has a production run of 50odd pieces so perhaps a mix up there?
he must have meant either the Fokker F50 or the similarly sized SAAB340
with a chase plane and a reasonably large zoom camera (to keep seperation).
it was proposed by Boeing but the airlines weren’t interested. The design would be too heavy. Instead Boeing developed the 738 and 739.
airliner are not only refused for being unsafe, but also for (for instance) not paying airport and ATC bills.
This probably also happened to Cameroon Airlines as they where banned for: “Non payment of Carriers Liability Act fines“. In the meantime they may have paid off their debts thus regaining permission to fly to the UK.
With Enimex it says that their permit has been restored april 30th ’03.
Same goes with RAF Avia, there it says their permit was returned July 26th ’03. They had been banned for not having a proper lease deal for the aircraft. By now they probably amended the deal and/or changed planes.
Star Air still seems to be banned.
The pint is, the general public will onyl know the airline by name, not by colour-scheme like us sad spotters.
Good pint (I always like pints though) but in this case it does not count. They did not cover up the tail, and at that airport there are AF planes everywhere. You do not need to be a genius to figure out that the plane with edited titles belongs to the same airline as most other planes at the airport.
could the top one be Air Farce?
I am all in favour of extending that policy to other airlines.
Its only a Ryanair flight. Its not as if you are going to be in the plane for 14 hours non-stop.
Could this be a “corporate poison pill”?
In business it is not uncommon for a company to make an, at first glance silly, change to make them less desirable for (hostile) take-overs. This split-up will definately make any take-over less favourable as the organizational mess will be terrible. Absorbing one company is possible, two would be a stretch but four is next to imposible. Maybe they are expecting LH to make a bid?
Apparantly there where also union problems, too many of them. This could be an attempt at killing of a good deal of them. And from the past there still is a quota on how many swedish/norwegian/danish employees each flight has to have. I reckon that is no longer going to be the case anymore (except for the long range ops).

be quiet! You might give Ryanair execs an idea!
the middle window style has been stolen! Can’t trust those rampers!
