    Thats an excellent photo never seen that before,a lot has been said about DOUG ARNOLD but he did so much in collecting warbirds complete or derelict throughout the world.

    And to think SM832 is now flying and in TFCs hanger for all to see.

    I cannot comment on the KI 43 but the P 61 story has gone a bit cold now,a 61 was found in china but was all to difficult to deal with the locals,apparently in good condition but thats all i know.

    The source was somewhat a suprise (not duxford based).

    SPARKY what have you got against charlie and howard,they are up and coming pilots at HAC,in fact charlie i think has flown for TFC please correct me if i am wrong.

    The P40 that was sold was a C model magazines are now saying TFC have a B model but nothing confirmed from the powers to be,
    so yet again another story i guess.

    But surely planes have come in and replace those you have listed

    Without the likes of TFC there would be no quality airshows ie legends,and without TFC there are many types of warbirds you could only see in the states,spent five minutes and list what TFC have in their collection they should be praised not criticised.

    You still have the hump over this MOSSIE/P38 story well as far as i am concerned its just that a story,nothing confirmed by TFC.

    Spot on MARK V but getting those chequers correct should be fun,
    look at the P47 next time you visit,i know the cowls are different
    but its still curves everywhere at the front.

    The P 61 is nothing more than a rumour it has not even been talked of on this forum for ages i believe. as for the KI 43 have they still got it?.
