Is this former London Air Museum Tony Graves? I assumed it was.

I try to share my stuff as much as possible but it costs money and involves a degree of risk. The museum allows me to do temporary displays.

If anyone is in the UK, please come to Old Sarum airfield and see some of the past winners of UK CockpitFest (at NAM) (we have around 20 cockpits in the Museum at Old Sarum)….plenty to see and do (Stonehenge and Salisbury just up road).

I did ask the seller of the of the pedal if it was real….the answer was ‘not a clue, sorry’. I would, if I was wanting to bid, want detailed shots to show the surface finish and various angles – the original pedals were very smooth.

There was actually 2 x H81A’s, a Blenheim, a Battle as well as the late Spits chatted about on the other thread.

We had permission to recover stuff about 15 years ago…..by that time, the major P40 bits had long gone….leaving just a few relics (blast tube, gauges, plate etc.) Found similar from the Battle and the Blenheim….the largest part was an u/c leg from the Blenheim, which we dragged to the edge and it was whipped before we could retrieve it with the car…..nothing left there now. The P40 parts (at least a tail part) was removed by some rebuilder in the 80s I believe. The were nice old tomahawks that had belly landed and ended up as targets….still got some parts

Looks pretty nice…Mk 1/2, I/II, would need to look at more closely to check the grip…very nice where is it? A museum (I hope)
