nice shots.
I like number 2, the tyres appear massive in the shot!
nice set! love the light on #3
I kept meaning to go down one evening during the week…didn’t get round to it though. Next week perhaps!
Nice sharp shots!
Good set
Nice pics!
I was also going to say that they do seem to be a little too tightly cropped, was the first thing I noticed.
Another thing I noticed…that 747 climb looks pretty steep!
Nice shots! The Emirates shot is my fave of the bunch.
rubbish those 😉
Fantastic colours. Brilliant shots.
Any post processing?
The Virgin A340 is my favourite from the bunch.
Nice shots!
Where were you standing for the MON departure?
:):):)
That is some serious kit they have bought! Some very generous people around obviously!
The 5500G alone is a few grand….I work with these :p (great kit 😉 )
Hope all goes well with the restore
Thanks for the info so far.
I think it will be extremely unlikely that my mum or dad will still have a passport from 92 but I will ask!
That was the only livery used by Balkan Bulgairan at that time….and unless someone knows differently I am fairly certain there was no such other operator. The pic I posted a link for was in 1992, and was the only livery used by the Airline at that time. Note also, it is a different airline altogether to the airline shown in Future Pilots links (that airline, BH Air is still in operation)
Got you.
Pretty sure the Balkan pic you linked to is what I flew on (in 92 also).
You’re thinking far too late… BH Air was not around in 1992. This I assume this what he needs…
That’s ringing bells!!
Would be cool to find the actual aircraft…albeit unlikely!
Some great pics there! Hopefully someone will have some from the mid 90’s..that livery really doesn’t ring any bells!
I didn’t realise it was only fairly recently that they stopped.
My dad recalls the flight with horror…”a bloody steep descent with screaming engines and lots of uneasy faces”…as he put it
I remember nothing of it at all.
What a shame! I’m just getting into flightsim.
Still…their backup plan wasn’t exactly robust.
hope they come back.
They are a total joke to be fair..
1. 747-400
2. 777-300ER
3. Airbus 330-300
Same!! I’ll save myself the trouble.
My reasoning…
– The front view of the 747 is awesome
– 777 engines are HUGE
– 330….well no particular reason but just nice.
If I could have 4 I would add the 787 onto there.
