Thanks Anna. If you like I’ll PM you a list of the Sundays I’ll be at the museum.
Geoff.
On Saturday I shall be going to Modelzone in High Holborn to see if they’ve got any nice Corgi or Dragon Wings die-cast aircraft in stock, after which I shall visit my favourite bookshop, the second-hand transport & military bookshop in Falconwood.
On Sunday, I shall be at The Shoreham Aircraft Museum, as this will be our first Sunday of our 2005 season, after which we will be open 10am to 5pm every Sunday to the end of September. I shall be there every other Sunday through the season.
Thanks to Anna for the chance to plug the museum on GD.

I wonder if anyone will rebuild a Hurricane as a two-seater, either as the Persian version, or with a second seat behind the pilot? It would be nice to give some of the Hurricane veterans the chance of a flight in a Hurricane again.
Geoff.
I hope you like my newsletter!
I shall be at the museum this Sunday, if any of our Kentish etc. contingent feel like dropping in for a chat.
Geoff.
Once he’d added some wheels, an electric motor, and four .303s, Kev reckoned he’d safe from Snapper at the book launch.

Perhaps taking bookings for Flying Legends 2005 was a little optomistic?

They’re showing in four one hour parts, as with the first run. Part two will be at the same time next week.
It’s funny watching it for the second time having had the pleasure of meeting several of the veterans since I first saw it, Bob Doe, Nigel Rose, Tom Neil etc. at the museum.
All three of the above, plus hopefully seven more, will be at the museum on the 15th May for another signing event in aid of the Battle of Britain London Monument. More details nearer the time.
Geoff.
Had an email the other day from RDF to let me know it would be on. Didn’t recognise any of the other names the email was addressed to.

And as ‘Happy Jack’s Go Buggy’ Duxford 11-3-93.
I’m not, but I’m sure others would 😉
Geoff.
I’d like to be there, but the chances of getting a ‘mother-sitter’ on a Friday are very slim indeed.
Geoff.
Certainly sounds like the rudder bar starwheel to me too. Used for adjusting the pedal position for tall or short pilots!
If I wasn’t the gentleman that I am, I could have mentioned a certain USA based warbird owner, who happens to own a later Hawker product, here.
Geoff.
These are from Duxford, taken on the 28.4.95.

Going by the title of this thread, maybe the CDs contain the drivers for the truck, in case it needs rebooting?
Geoff.
LaurentB – That is indeed the bit I was cleaning up last Sunday, amongst others, cheers.
Thanks to all who replied to this thread.
