Good Morning Vietnam…
We’re talking out in the field today.
Hi, what’s your name?
“My name’s Bob Fliber!”
Bob, what do you do?
“I’m in the artillery!”
Thank you, Bob. Listen, can we play anything for you?
“Anything! Just play it loud! Okay?”
Classic – just can’t find a WWW link to the clip:(

After a few months of hunting via the WWW and model shops, finally being able to treat myself to a 1/72 scale, die-cast F-105 Thunderchief.
You have got to be good to yourself every now and again…..

Not yet, no…. 😮
As a matter of interest, which version of the film would you recommend? I know there are a few different cuts, so have no idea which I should go for as a Blade Runner “virgin”….
I’d say the latest version, mainly because a couple of scenes were reshot (to take out a cross dressing stunt double) also as well as it has “dangerous days” on it which is a fantastic eye opener with the details behind shooting of the film. I don’t tend to get worked up over DVD extra’s, but this was fantastic. The early version had a 50’s style voice over to explain the plot, the next didn’t, the latest didn’t and had the refined scenes (and not a George Lucus self indulgent tinkering kind of thing, but extra quality) still just £3 or so on amazon.

Have just seen the trailer for the new version of A Nightmare on Elm Street, scheduled for release in April next year.
Still no “Blade Runner” then Daz?

Tropic Thunder
Not the greatest comedy, some nice gems like the fake movie trailers at the start to set the background, “Satans Alley” made me laugh out loud….

Spent 2 hours taking the washing machine to bits as it wasn`t draining, eventually removed pump and put power on it and found it wasn`t working. The wife then informs me we should be entitled to a new one free as the machine is still under warranty.
then the warranty is void because you took it to bits?:diablo:
