I see your point, but any attempt to discuss/offer goods services is unwanted by me. Have a sticker up by the front door from local trading standards saying we don’t buy goods or services at the door which so far works, we used to get one a week. Cleaners, meat, windows, doors, roofing, car valeting….G-BIKI has the right idea !!

“as a courtesy” from my energy supplier, I was very polite, told her I was registered with the TP service, she was polite and apologised, I just mailed them AGAIN asking for a letter stating that they won’t call what with this being the second or third time…..

Very sad – and also quiet and dignified with no Max Clifford in sight either….used to have a real crush on Ms Brahms when I was young…

Can only say third hand but I know of two people who have done it and both said it was worthwhile, both related to phobias – from what they said, they were both open minded which I understand is the key.

Have to say its not for me, but each to their own and certainly these two both said it helped.

IIRC he is still a national hero in Norway and quite rightly. He was one of their firts national icons after independence in the early 20th century. A true pioneer of polar exploration who learned and adapted to be able to travel with relative ease over the snow and ice.

Scott gets (quite rightly IMO) a hard time on some basics of polar exploration (case in point, want to mark a depot in the snow?. Do you use a single whit e flag, or multiple dark colour flags in an “X” shape over a wide distance, each giving bearing and distance towards the supplies?)
