    Got any O’s…?

    with 3 ooos?

    BARKER: ‘O’s!
    CORBETT: ‘O’s?
    BARKER: ‘O’s.
(He goes to get a hoe, and places it on the counter)
    BARKER: No, ‘O’s!
CORBETT: ‘O’s! I thought you said ‘O! (he takes the hose back, and gets a hose, whilst muttering) When you said ‘O’s, I thought you said ‘O! ‘O’s!
(He places the hose onto the counter)
    BARKER: No, ‘O’s!
CORBETT (confused for a moment): O’s? Oh, you mean panty ‘o’s, panty ‘o’s! (he picks up a pair of tights from beside him)
BARKER: No, no, ‘O’s! ‘O’s for the gate. Mon repose! ‘O’s! Letter O’s!
CORBETT (finally realising): Letter O’s! (muttering) You had me going there!

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

me too, not bad, nice references to the original (mention of Icarus space craft lost, the guy watching the movie on TV and the classic line) took a while to get going, but worth a wet Wednesday afternoon.

perhaps they are due to get another 22 black Hawks so they can beat the old record ! :diablo::rolleyes::cool:

I’ve often wondered if a team or air force would ever try, I guess the RAF doesn’t have 23 pilots to spare !?

Ah, landing on moving platforms, my favourite episode………….

    Nice one….

“air to air” activity featured a lot in Gerry Anderson shows, remember the moon shuttle in “UFO” that docked and undocked at high altitude, the Thunderbirds Are Go movie (which was Fireflash storyline again) did the same with Alan saving the day.

Post holiday blues….. 5 days on the Norfolk coastline, great beer, great food, lovely people, HUGE beaches, fresh air, and I saw (by accident) a restored dome gunnery trainer by a roadside which made for a handy 15 min stop.

and now back to reality 😡

We used to have a police force, now we have a “service” and there in lays the problem. They can’t police the streets, they are micro managed and we live in a society where it seems its more important that people have the right to commit a crime than we have a right to not be victims.

we don’t need, and should not have soldiers on the streets. to steal a quote from a TV show “There’s a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people”

Men In Black and Men In Black II, both short and funny, Tommy Lee Jones is so deadpan I’m sure he almost doesn’t realise how funny it is.

MiB III next year… I wonder if they can do it again?
