Plumber turned up this morn, bit of teeth sucking… can’t do that it’s ‘ot water, British Gas do ‘ot water see.

So BG gas plumber turns up, with first guy having said “it will be OK a few days”, and second plumber says “Oh lord no”, drains the tank etc, manages to book me a all day job Weds to fit a new hot water tank.

Checked my boiler as well, also leaking, so thats being fixed on Weds as well.

why the smile ? My BG homecare costs about £1 a day and all this lot, parts as well would be £2k.

anybody want to buy a house ?:D

    Twaddle.

    Utter unalloyed twaddle.

It had nothing to do with “lefties”, nothing to do with “council offices”, but everything to do with a legal requirement in some foreign countries that any artwork on the packaging must faithfully represent the product as packaged.

Oh get to the point !;)

I understood there was a requirement (EU/EEC whatever ?) that “war scenes” were not allowed on childrens toys ? Or should I stop reading “The Daily Mail” ? :diablo:

    Groups of (usually) men

Stood peering through the windows of Radio Rentals from about 4:35 onwards on Saturday afternoon to get the football/rugby/horse racing results etc.

Also earlier in the day as well to catch any sport to relieve the shopping bordom.

Actually, add “World Of Sport”, Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks etc as well !

My nippers, I got a bit of tourettes when I saw the tank leaking etc and wondering how much it would be and moaned about it. My little girl offered me her piggy bank to borrow while my son (who never has money….) offered to skip xmas and birthday if “It helped”.

Don’t mind admitting that I smiled and it bought a tiny tear to my eye as well.
