5 a side football, at my age I should give up but its great excercise and much more fun than the gym……thats a grade 2 ankle sprain and broken fingers now since Jan, that giving up thing seems a good idea !
Broken a finger, maybe two
could be far worse but **** me it stings !

Exactly.
That’s the problem nowadays, allot of people want everything for nothing.
You don’t go to the pub for a drink with no money in your pocket, just to stand outside looking like a mooch.
As for the price of admittance into Legends, its on the same time every year.I save up all my shrapnel starting when i get back and then by the end of the year there’s over a couple of hundred quid in. So its like a free holiday.
I couldn’t agree more, next the folk outside will be moaning that the displays don’t allow them to get decent pictures…….
I’ve done this before a show, by accident a few years ago, I just pitched up not realising that a show was due and it turned out to be a great day.
Some traders open up, or at least did then, I saw arrivals and air tests and not a step ladder or commentator in sight !
Moon
“Indie” film that won a few awards popped onto the “Sky Anytime” page on Friday, its not bad at all but you can guess whats happening very easily which is a shame.
Its very well made, but a bit of more thought on the storyline could have made it so much better.
As for a “Musketeers” remake, it is a classic tale, the Oliver Reed version is quite true to the book from what I remember, I guess there is always room to update a classic, it depends on the style of the day. “Robin Hood” has been made countless times, each with a different angle, and it can’t be as bad as the Charlie Sheen version !

All for one…
I’m still working through movies with my son that I remember my parents taking me to.
This has aged a bit now, but cracking cast (Oliver Reed in a perfect role for him) even if Charlton Heston makes an odd French Cardinal ! Spike Milligan (married to Raquel Welch in the movie )
Great fun for a Saturday evening though, the sequel is next on the list.

Large sections are still there in the bomber hall. I paid a visit yesterday with my son. The Battle Of Britain Hall was as dark as ever, but the re-opened Sunderland display was a nice treat. I can’t remember the last time I was able to see that, the Graham White building was only open 10-12 though.
The museum was quite lively and busy, the parking charge (not unreasonable IMPO) didn’t seem to have put people off at all.
My son again, we drove to Hendon today, somehow the conversation got onto my will, but he doesn’t want me to die (yet) he wants to wait until he is an RAF pilot so he can a) say “ha ha” as I couldn’t, and b) fly over my house in a Typhoon….:D

Just heard Eric ‘Winkle’ Brown will be at FL this year! The man is a legend! 😀
He is a wonderful man, always has a friendly word for anybody. He is a hero of mine from way back when I started reading some of his books.
I’ll be there, probably Saturday with BSG Junior, we’ve been every year since he was 4 or 5. It’s my favourite show in my favourite place, it’s even in my will to have my ashes scattered there.
Ah……..tumbleweed….:D
opened that wallet then Baz?:diablo:
Number one son made me smile today (through hangover) just wants a day out with his dad. I mentioned to him that a friend who is a keen shooter & gun owner is going to source us a deactivated Bren Gun to have as an “ornament” once Cruella has gone, and he said “are you going to use it if she comes crawling back?” I laughed…
