Nice one Michael.
Griffon Spits are totally bada$$!
Really smart to operate her off of the grass as well.
Congrats to all involved.

I’m always quite distressed to hear of an aircraft incident or mishap.
I’m always so very grateful to hear that no one was seriously hurt. That truly is the most important thing.
No doubt the Tiger will be rebuilt.

Nice tribute.
I was flying in to St Catharines on Sunday and heard “VRA” on the radio.
After we landed we saw her in the distance and could feel the roar of power even from a few miles.
Well done.
Andy
Thanks Anon for some great answers. I had no idea Hoffmann is making warbird blades. What profiles do they do ? Who else is making old profiles ? I understand Avia in the Czech Republic is making Hamilton Standard aluminium blade profiles for Mustangs. It seems like an area with a growing need in future years.
This is a very interesting thread. I really enjoy how you put the “passion” in your name P&P 🙂
as for other companies making warbird blades I do know of this one http://www.gt-propellers.com/special-warbird-blades.html
That is Mk XVI SL721. Vintage wings of Canada.
Thanks for all of the interesting input.

I’ve seen this thread for some time and realized that I should commend you, Rob, for persevering with this representation of such an unusual machine.
Great stuff.
I really like the unique and unusual and can only imagine how great it must feel when you score a nice tidbit or two.
Same goes for the like of Dave Collins and Cees and all of you folks practically bringing things back from extinction.
Thanks for the efforts and thanks for sharing. I’m definitely enjoying.

Hello Bob.
This is the first time I’ve seen this thread and just wanted to say that I find it quite interesting.
Sorry, I don’t have any bits to offer up.
You’ve not mentioned if you plan for this Snipe to be built as a flier or not.
I’ve read through Nicks thread on “The Aerodrome” forum. He’s really done a marvelous job.
Watching his Snipe leap in to the air is breathtaking! What a hot rod.
Thanks for posting and do keep us updated.

Ian, I was also going to mention that Kermit Weeks would likely be interested in participating in anything Sabre related.
He has two complete units that I am aware of. He also has some fantastic people working with him.
This is such an exciting prospect. Thanks for keeping us informed.
That demonstration video of printing sand molds is truly ingenious. Wow, there are some brilliant folks out there.
Andy Scott
Really enjoying this thread.
The genius of these people never ceases to amaze.
Thanks for posting your findings P&P.
Andy
Wow!
This is a very exciting project.
Thank you for posting and sharing this with us.
I wish you the best of success and look forward to any further postings.

CWH Lanc did not participate in their fathers day air show.
I’m told that an engine mount issue was found.
Andy
Nice!
Well done to all indeed.
Keeping a Pegasus in fighting trim is getting harder and harder to do.
Congratulations
Andy
That’s so strange to see that Hercules run without the big fan thingie up front to blow the smoke away.
Sure sounds sweet!
Seeing those folks flip over that very impressive spar, made me think that they should get MNM’s on board as a sponsor, ’cause their logo is repeated so many times through the structure 🙂
Looks great!
Andy
Nice!
Thanks Matthias
Congratulations to the team on another fabulous milestone!
Andy
Thanks! 🙂
Andy
Pen pusher,
Thanks for more wonderful photos.
I have a question regarding the Mustang flying circuits.
Do they do full stop landings, or touch and goes?
Thanks again
