Some screenshots of the MiG-29UPG from the video to which TR1 gave a link.
Shows the different sensors and the IFR probe that have been added to the UPG as well as the upgraded cockpit with 3 MFDs. Also shows what appears to be new Chaff and Flare dispensers.
Great job with the screenshots Kramer. How did you managed to save the movie, i still can’t figure out …
Another one , a bigger version is posted by =GT= at china-defence.com. ( indeed from the good pictures we can see, imo this J-20 thing looks very cool :D)

F-15 claims are 17 MiG-21, 16 MiG-23, 1 Gazelle
F-16 claims 18 MiG-21, 4 MiG-23, 7 Su-22, 2 GazelleSourced from:

and the similar F-16A book
Thanks PeterG. Just a little question , is that just FOUR Mig-23 kills claimed by the F-16s or is it a typing error ?
It’s interesting that according to this latest info F-15 claimed 34 kills and F-16 claimed 31, which makes 65 total. I’m not sure if the F-4 claim ( 1) still stands.
Thanks again.
I’m trying to find a breakdown of the F-16 kills in the Bekaa operation, please can anyone point me in the right direction ? I meen a rough idea of how many Mig-21 , Mig-23 and Sukhois and helos were claimed shot down by F-16s.
I found some numbers for the F-15s , namely i think 17 Mig-23 and 23 Mig-21s plus a helo ( Gazelle), and i THINK Phantoms might have a kill ( Mig-21?).
Thanks.:)
Re: the F-22’s F-119 engine , the engine is stated officially to be in the “35,000lb” class. How do we know it’s actual thrust is not less than that , hmm ?;)
I’m saying this because if you remember the F-100PW-100/200 ( F-15, F-16 ) was initialy stated to be in the “25,000lb class” , but it came our later that it’s actual thrust figure is just under 24,000lb , correct ?
Oh is it gone ? Phew thank lord i saved it …here it is .
Gorgeous …but they left the pitot out 🙁 ( yes i know it’s shopped a bit to hide the bays )
