Speaking of pictures … can i please ask does anyone have a good picture ( or maby a clip ) of the Mig-23 prototype bort 234, with 2 APU-23M launchers and R-23T missiles ? There are 3 screenshots of it taking off in Y.Gordon’s Mig-23 book , and i think a short clip of it taking off in a OKB Mig documentary – but only a fairly distant shot of the aircrfat passing overhead .
Here are two pictures of the aircraft in question with bombs…

Thank you very much .:)
Wow, that was quick! 😮 If i’m correct , the rumours was that T-50-2 was suposed to arrive at Zhukovsky in May.
So based on past experience, i assume it is possible the bird MIGHT start flying in few weeks time ( 2-3?). Hope everything goes well and boy i’m waiting for those first pics in cammo like a dog! 😀
Syrian AF Su-24MK & MiG-29.

Also check the original blog here , hope mr. R.S. will update it with some more goodies soon …great find this is .
Any news about the T-50 proper ? Rumour was few days ago that T-50-2 might have bort number 53, so it should be in cammo by now, right ? (useless to say i’m drooling for some pics- Shadowname where are you ? )
Also, about 51 , anything new since the 23rd ?
Thank you.:)
Does anyone knows if there are any news regarding the first 2 serial production Su-35s ? When are they slated to fly ?
Thanks.:)
Speaking of libyan Mig-25s , found this picture of a Mig-25P( Foxbat-A) from 1981 in the Flightglobal archive …does anyone have it by any chance in better quality ? Thanks.:)
Thanks Flateric.
I like 51’s new paint job. Blue just looks kinda weird to me.
Well, been trying to figure it out myself, is this really a new paint job , or is it most likely just a light trick ( seems to have been sunny , besides , i have in my files a couples of pics of 51 where the paint seems to have about the same shade like these ones).
…and i was just about to ask for any recent news about “51” …man this bird never ceases to take my breath away , even after all these hundreds of pictures! 😮
Thanks alot Jo Asakura.
BTW , any news if “52” is painted yet ?:)
Mechanical failure caused by SAM or AAA, i presume …:diablo:
Thanks Jo Asakura for letting us know , and to Sukhoi for sharing with us, lovely vid.:p
You can cleary see the “sawteeth” on the nose/radome in this vid.
Speaking of angles , i think there are several more pics, which i haven’t seen on the internet at least ( of the T-50-1), in Mr .Fomin’s english suplements of Take-off, which are available online.
Mig-35 passes all test under MMRCA tender
Wow Haavarla, thanks for the link , i wasn’t aware of the english page and all the suplements being available online. Man i love that magazine . Many thanks to Mr. Fomin for sharing it with us, his approach is unique and at the same time an example to follow. 🙂
“Take-off” is number one !:D
Not that it matters too much to me, either, but I really don’t like our own hypocracy in pretending that we actually “care” for them. We never did..
Well said. IMO anyone believing that it’s only because US , France and UK and other governments caring so much for the lybian peopels, and caring so much for their wellbeing and protection , they started this little air war ( only ?), needs a serious dose of reality …(oh, you can add to that “care” list the afghan “people” , iraqi “people” , and so on …but we digress):(
