Here is one (below and to the right of the jet exhaust.

Here is a much bigger pic that shows the underside of a F-35C.

Nah, i’ll put my money on PS of 2002 (unfortunately).

On another note, why the hell you have the damn F-35 being “discussed” over the last few pages instead of you know, CHINESE aviation? Please everyone, don’t feed the damn trolls, ignore them, this is ridiculous.

Mods, i respectfully ask your assistance to bring this topic back on track, this continuous blatant trolling is damaging the quality of discussion on this forum, and we are potentially loosing very valuable and insightful members because of them. The trolls (both pro-chinese or pro-american and so on) should not be allowed to do that. Thank you.

And yes, there is certain news right now about a certain prototype, but meh, what is the point.

What is the news Berkut if may i ask?

As as a sidenote regarding Su-34, well i hear what you’re saying but strangely, in that episode from Polygon the presenter clearly talks about AL-31FM1. Since i don’t speak russian it might as well be that the engine he played about with was an AL-31FM1, but not necessarily the one (F?) being used on Su-34. On the other hand, why not have all the new AL-31 engines built to FM1 standard, it’s been fitted on some Su-27SM since something like 2007 no?

PS: Well we all know the stuff seen in the last pages is to be found everywhere (unfortunately), best to ignore it and concentrate on the really interesting news and details.

I know that the hungarians got their 28 MiG-29B/UB (the “third world” export version) as payment for debt. As for other weapons, probably most of not all the 500 or so BTR-80 APC and perhaps T-72 tanks were also part of debt payments, but i’m really not sure here. It might also be the case with ST-68 radars. Surprisingly little info on their armed forces on the net. Any hungarian members here that can help?

Reuben Johnson? US industry experts? Yeah right… the guy has no idea what he’s talking about (he doesn’t even know what engines T-50 use), he’s just spitting venom probably on behalf of local interests imo.

Well, other things notwithstanding, i fully agree with that. Any idea from informed folks when J-20 2003 and subsequent prototypes are coming out, also anything new about J-31, there’s rumour about an improved prototype coming out in 2014, would that be the second one or perhaps there will be another one joining 31001 soon (and before 2014)? What about JH-7B? Nothing from that front either. Is J-10B coming out to the PLA this year? Thanks.

I’ve never heard of such chemical attacks from SyAAF Mi-17s, they would surely have made waves in the news, and would surely be heaven’s gift for those who itch for another war. When and where, any verifiable proof, video (please warn if graphic) ?

Some say it’s hogwash. Imo, it most likely is. Show me the video, and THEN i’ll believe it.

Tony, i have no idea who you are, but i haven’t seen anyone making so much sense and putting things on the plate as they are in a loooong time.

I was thinking the likes of AQ and other similar jihadist monkeys are like the bull in a corrida, and the obscure (usually US, and their ME lapdogs- which the idiots can’t even realize THEY are worked too) interests behind them are the toreador. They have learned in the last decades that as long as they handled that red cap with expertise, they can make the bull (which THEY created, especially starting from the eighties onwards) go whichever way they want. This is exactly what’s happening in Syria now, this is why all these “moderate freedom fighters” are usually from anywhere but Syria, and espouse deep democratic values like sharia, killing anyone they see fit of a different sect, race, religion etc etc., they are being “red-capped” to Syria. Assad is a war criminal? Maybe. But there are some that are 10 times worse than him in Washington, Riyadh, Doha, you name it.

Btw, the syrians say the helicopter was in a mission to monitors/ detect jihadists infiltrating from Turkey into Syria. I was saying to myself do the turks feel safe with those jihadist criminals literally meters away from their borders, and not only that but also HOUSING them in their country too before sending them to Syria? They must be mad if that’s the case.

Which gets us back back to the bull analogy. If the toreador drop his guard or makes the wrong move even for a second though, he will be gored to death. If i was in Riyadh, Ankara, Doha etc., i would be rather worried.
