5 Su-34 to be delivered to Voronezh on the 25th (tomorrow):

PS: Any news of when the Su-35S’s from KnAAPO will be transferred to Akhtubinsk? ( i suspect those that are already there -3 or 4?- count against the 6)
A very interesting post Jō.:)
As exemplified by the F-35, this “test points” thing is just a PR orientated stunt, pulling out some random numbers for effect and always telling the press how far ahead they are, always (well actually , not really, as shown in the recent OTE report).
Judging other programs by the same PR orientated metric is very uninformed indeed. Did Rafale use this ” test points” thing, or Typhoon , or indeed any other modern combat aircraft? I would be interested to know that actually.
Good pictures. Any news about when 2003 will be coming out?
Oh that might explain a few things. When news of a second stage engine appeared , someone THOUGHT it will be called 127. Makes sense (and it happens, just like with a certain X aircraft :D)
e
Thanks.
The thrust that Mack8 posted, about 11500kg-18 000kg is similar to what I;ve seen on the net for the second stage engine.
Any idea if this is correct?
If it is, then it places it squarely into the F119 category, or possibly higher in afterburner, depending on who believes who…..
Actually, with about 40,000lb the second stage engine will be closer to the F-135 category. Christ, if they manage to keep the weight not far away from the Izd.117, and T-50’s weight doesn’t grow appreciably in the process, the second stage “T-50M” is going to be a rocket.
PS: Oh and yeah, i did meant Izd.127 and not Izd.129-i belive they were two different engines- it seems this is the designation vehiculated for the second stage engine a few years ago. (older articles , magazines etc.). Obviously, now we know that Izd.30 is the second stage engine for T-50.
PPS: Obviously , going into “proprietary” details here , but i don’t suppose any info has been allowed to leak if Izd.30 will have round or flat nozzle?
And i was about to ask same for the initially mentioned (157KN-16,000kgf?) Izd.127, but i guess i have to redirect that to Satan.:p
(anyway , IF -a big IF- this Izd. 127 existed as a design too , given it’s thrust and perhaps designation, perhaps it was a further souped up izd.117, probably squeezing another 1000kgf out of it.)
So this raises the question , if Izd. 30 (aka Izd. PI) is the second stage engine (11,500/18,000kgf), then what is Izd.129?
Ignore the obvious baiting folks. Probably someone we already know. No point in “debating” anything with such persons.
So? They always have mock-ups at exhibitions or handling trials etc. Can’t wait to see it on a JH-7B soon. Go China!:D
Well, i think it was posted on bmpd first. Is this the one that was suposed not to be shared?
Btw, here’s the very high rez pic posted by TR1 in the russian aviation news thread, the radikal image seems to be mostly down because of the many requests.
Save it while you can, dunno how long this free hosting thingie lasts. 🙂

Your word against PPV.
What is PPV saying again? Thanks.:)
Prettiness! Thanks Marcelosg. Would there be a longer version available of the video of 054’s arrival at Zhukovsky ?
What’s the name of this “expert”. Obviously he has a rather obvious agenda; strangely, other compatriots of his have a more balanced view on the MiG-29, not to mention those who fly and trained in it against US types ( poles etc.). Chauvinism at it’s best.
