I think this originated with the misconception that there would be an “export” F-35 that might have a higher RCS vs the DoD F-35. Soon after the DoD/JPO made very clear and concise statements that there were to be no “export” F-35s, Boeing stopped making the RCS claim.

Oh yes there is my friend …i can bet you safely my lifetime earnings that most if not ALL export F-35 will have little back-end “doors” in their software and radar, a little bug here, a little kill-switch there, lacking this or that “top-secret” feature , you name it.
