This is getting tiring and annoying. Tragic mess huh? Again in this and other parts of your post you’re just arrogant and patronizing, perhaps you should dismount your tall horse for a bit, just as i might not know it all (and I DON’T, i’m not afraid to say that), neither do you despite what you might think. To answer, do i need to quote this again? Going in circles here, despite what you said subsequently about not hating the idea or the “dream” of an UEAF or UEM, what other conclusion can be drawn from the post below ?! You said this, not anyone else. You still haven’t posted anything (in another section or whatever) about the “despicable things” you talk about btw. Why?

Are you for real? Well no, obviously not because you have no idea how f*cked up and corrupt Europe really is. Today, Europe do the most unimaginable, despicable and sickening things that would sink it to the most awful depths capable of matching that of the US, Russia, China or any other country, both “civilised” and 3rd world. Why don’t you go educate yourself on these simple un-reported matters then maybe you’d just wake up and end up in the real world. Do that small thing instead of insulting other people’s intelligence!

I do not agree with a “United European Military” because ‘I believe’ it will not work. Each European country have different requirements and have different views on world matters. I asked you a question on a likely scenario of deploying one or two Aircraft Carriers and how to solve the differences of the EU’s matters. You totally ignored it. So, how can you have a United European Military when you can’t even solve that seemingly simple situation?

I did not ignored anything. The problem, or one of them is the peoples that have already embraced the “NO, it can’t be done, we can never get along ” from the get going. How about thinking in terms of what would need to happen to make this work? Imagine if say the britishers from 1940 would have said “no it can’t be done, why bother…” instead of standing firm (and the “big” US allies of UK today were watching and getting richer btw) when the nazi armies where at the Channel shores, what then. It is this attitude that we NEED today, it is this attitude that we NEED everywhere in Europe to make this “dream” come true. Will it ever happen ? I don’t know, the odds do not look too good, but it is NOT impossible. This is a “dream” worth having and worth pursuing for our own future.

Are you having difficulties distinguishing the difference Multinational and British? Are you also having a bit of Brain Fade, BAE Hawk not ring a bell?… Aren’t you also aware of that what Britain produces today that isn’t just military fast jets?… No, not ehm… Aware… of anything?… Anything else in particular?… Not done your research on other areas?…

Let me just take the recent examples (not necessarily to you) regarding the ACTIVE undermining of UK’s defence just to satisfy the politicians’ allegiance to send british troops as basically mercenaries (not my words, but this is what peoples like Sqn. Cdr. P. Mason said he felt like – and that was in 1991) in wars for US profit: the Harrier FA2 has been axed to cater for this F-35 (supposed to come in 2012, how did this turned out) then the Nimrod MRA4 (after billions spent, in production and ready for delivery!) and Harrier GR7/9 were axed, and reduced production for Typhoon for what ? Just to free money to burn in Afghanistan or Iraq in hugely unpopular wars, not to mention the huge suffering brought to MILLIONS of peoples over there, which is against the very principles of european society today.
This dramatically weakened the UK defence, future options being closed like postponing the F-35 if necessary, and especially avoiding capability gaps by say using the Harriers on QE for a while, the Nimrod axe hugely weakened the UK nuclear deterrent which assures the very existence of this country (although the missiles are american (!), so not sure how a strong of a deterrent that is now). My blood boils of what has been lost and the level of treason, and i’m not even british!

It brings Europe as a whole closer together in developing what we/they do best, so long as it works well, and it jolly does more often than not, then it’s a positive chapter in my book.

Again, not agreeing with such an idea does not mean I, nor anyone else for that matter, has a special kind of hatred for the idea. Do learn how to know the differences.

So what, should we just shrug, say it’s realpolitik and move on with our mundane lives, to a future where perhaps we’d be mere vegetables chatting about the increase of the chocolate ration from 20 to 15 grams? I do loath what has become of this world, and i do loath the superpower machinations that renders this country’s defence and Europe’s as a whole increasingly weakened until like i said we’ll be just some Canada or Australia (no offence) at the very best, pushovers, if not worse.

Of course yes, this is what needs to change! The US is rotten to the core anyway and it’s not our problem what they do over there, but the traitorous politicians in our countries be it from UK or elsewhere DO need to be stopped to work for them and against their own peoples. THIS is what needs to happen before it’s too late.

PS: Anyway, i’ll say yet again, if anyone doesn’t like this theme or doesn’t like what is said here or whatever, please, if you don’t have anything constructive to say just stay away and don’t post! We’re wasting each other’s time really.

Um, re-read my post i said IRAQ would have leaned closer to GCC/US, not Iran. Remember, US were good buddies with Iraq during this war (also buddies with Iran too btw- remember Contra and similar stuff). US (and the israelis etc.) wanted none of them to win over the other, so they made sure of that.
